Buying less is the best way to reduce fashion’s impact on the planet, and it’s easier to do that if we know why it matters, and how to make our clothes last longer.

If you need to buy new clothes, it’s important to ask questions first. Asking brands questions and telling them your thoughts is also a great way to push for change in the industry. -

Three simple actions you can take to help change fashion for good:
1. Ask brands to support the total ethics fashion manifesto: paying living wages, making less, and using sustainable, animal-free materials.
2. Only buy new when you can’t buy pre-loved, or shop your own wardrobe. Ask lots of questions before you do.
3. Educate your community – share our resources, social posts and campaigns working for good.
