Advancing fashion by confronting injustices harming us all.
Working for a fashion system that upholds total ethics, by prioritising the life and wellbeing of our fellow animals, people and the planet we share.
Fashion is a way of expression. We all wear clothes and say something to the world in what we choose to clothe ourselves in. It’s time our choices reflect what we really want for our world.
For too long, conversations around improving fashion have been tunnel-visioned by looking at only one pillar of justice, be it environmental, humanitarian, or anti-speciesist. Our mission is to combat all three key injustices together.
The most effective way to fight injustice in the fashion industry is by primarily addressing animal fashion supply chains. By illuminating the issues within these systems, we can work to uproot all three key fashion injustices; against humans, non-humans, and the planet.

The issues
As much as there is to love about fashion, the industry that creates our clothing, shoes and accessories is often deeply problematic and harmful. Here, we outline some of the most serious issues taking place in the fashion industry today. By sharing information, both the fashion industry and consumers can consider their contribution to these problems, and their capacity to create positive change.

Total ethics material guide
We are constantly growing the resources we have to offer both the fashion industry and consumers on materials to opt for and avoid. When considering the wellbeing of our shared planet, human and non-human animals alike, these materials are all a part of the future of fashion.
Articles
We write trustworthy, referenced articles about everything that falls under the umbrella of total ethics in fashion. From deep-dives into carbon emissions associated with certain materials to fashion myth-debunking and explanations of what total fashion ethics really looks like, there’s a lot here to learn about.
Our ecosystem
We’re proud to have engaged, supported and worked with a wide and diverse range of charities, organisations, political parties and councils, in order to work towards a total ethics fashion system.
